We pay a heavy price for our fear of failure. It is a powerful obstacle to growth. It assures the progressive narrowing of the personality and prevents exploration and experimentation. There is no learning without some difficulty and fumbling. If you want to keep on learning, you must keep on risking failure—all your life.

When I thought about what I wanted my reputation as a Wedding Photographer to be, I knew that "He takes really good pictures!" simply wasn't enough. I wanted to infuse each couple's personality with stellar photography skills. I wanted to utilize the latest lighting techniques and innovative post-processing methods to create unforgettable images. I wanted to combine photographer, artist, and designer into one role and be more than a "photographer that documents events." But most of all, I wanted to develop an environment that created natural interactions and gave clients the creative freedom to be who they are.

Influences

From childhood, I was always curious about how things worked. This interest in technology followed me throughout my school years and into my adult life. A degree in Graphic Technologies was a natural next step. In my program, I was exposed to a variety of influences. I learned how to code websites and use design software. A few years after graduation, a friend's filmography website inspired me to pick up a camera. Once I did that, there was no turning back.

In early 2014 I decided to pursue photography as a business. I've always had an entrepreneurial mind but never could put my finger on what I wanted to do. Since beginning my career, I've captured some incredible moments for couples and families. I strive to be a one-stop shop for engagements, ceremonies, and receptions, making your photographic process streamlined and easy.

Photography is an art almost as technical as it is aesthetic. The balance of light, shadow, and focus, in addition to the creative elements of poses, color, and mood makes photography an exciting endeavor. With photography, I express myself, using all my interests and knowledge to create something beautiful. They say that to be truly happy, you have to do what you love. Each session that I take confirms that I am doing what truly makes me happy.
